Windows Live Essentials 2011 Offline Installer

Introduction
Windows Live Essentials 2011 is out and I think not everyone will be pleased with the new provided functionalities. I will skip the review, since I pretty much deleted it instantly when I tried it out, and just provide some new analysys and the offline installer info like I did in one of my previous posts with the 2009 and 2010 version.

Analysis
The files are stored and logged in the same folders as I stated before in my previous analysis. There is however a difference in the distribution of the provided catalog files. In the 2009 and 2010 versions the catalog files were spread over different languages while in the current 2011 version only one catalog file is provided with all the language related files.

To be more specific, there is the “neutral” file version that is available at some location that looks like this:

http://wl.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/../../../……/neutral/..

Language files, that basically update the application on the language level, can be installed afterwards and are available from locations that have the following generic form

http://wl.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/../../../……/LANG/..

where LANG stands for some specific language.

Furthermore, the language specific files are named as FILELang. For example the “neutral” MSI file of Windows Live Messenger is named as Messenger.msi, while the language specific file is named as MessengerLang.msi.

The latest catalog file should always be available from

http://g.live.com/1rewlive4catg/catalog-web.cab

while the version specific catalog is available from

http://wl.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/../../../……/catalog-web.cab

Offline standalone installer files
For the full list of all the separate components and relevant package information of the different versions visit the WLEWP (Windows Live Essentials Watcher Page). On the page I will keep an up to date list of all the WLE versions from beginning at least with version 15.4.3502.0922. I will probably also add earlier versions of the Wave 3 series in the future.

If you just want the full offline installer, choose your language from the following list and download the file directly.

Help Please I have tried EVERYTHING to get this program to install. Everything installs except mail. I keep getting this error 0×80070643. I have looked on line, I followed all the instructions as to getting everything scanned, dumped and repaired. I have disabled advast and also tried uninstalling it first, revo uninstaller also tried. Please can you help?

    @Tracy McCormick
I think there is something wrong with your system, but I have no clue what exactly. The error isn’t very descriptive. The best chance you have is to google around with the key combinations “0×80070643″ and “windows live mail”.
